Since early 2021 (after many audience suggestions), REHAB producer Elizabeth Cracroft and others with lived experience in addiction, recovery, and rehab have made it their mission to adapt REHAB into a TV series so our kaupapa can reach even more people.

Our first pilot was registered with the NZ Writers’ Guild in November 2021, and in January 2022, we presented our pilot at Auckland Table Reads, with many industry folk present.

Following further feedback, we got down to the mahi of rewriting & rewriting & rewriting...

With limited resources, we’ve held many writing hui to create a developing pilot, ready for funding.

Over five years later, and with strong industry interest, we are more determined than ever to get REHAB on the screen.
